Noritsu to Sell Epson Printers

Noritsu America Corporation, the manufacturer of photo processing and digital imaging systems, has announced that it will carry the complete line of Epson professional wide format inkjet printers, including the Stylus Pro 4000, 7600, 9600, and 10600 printers.

“This product offering allows us to leverage our expertise in digital output,” says Peter Mador, Noritsu's vice president of sales for its Photo Specialty, Professional, Government and New Business division. “By expanding our product line with these large format printers, we can connect our photo specialty customers with imaging options that yield high-margins and provide additional business expansion opportunities.”

The company says it views the Epson printers as complementary to its Mytis-1 printer. “The Epson printers create a sort of 'upgrade path' to the Mytis-1,” says Gregory Joe, Noritsu's marketing manager.

Noritsu will also provide a variety of output media for the Epson printers, including materials for photographic, proofing, fine art and signage applications. (Noritsu: www.noritsu.com)
