Mutoh America has expanded its printer line with the introduction of the ValueJet 1624W textile/sublimation printer.

Capable of using water-based or dye-sublimation transfer or direct-print inks, the new 64-in. 4-color (CMYK) printer features staggered dual printheads, offers a maximum resolution of 1400 dpi, and can hit print speeds up to 600 sq ft/hr (at 360 x 360 dpi).

Additional features include:
• Integration of Mutoh’s Intelligent Interweave (i2) technology to help eliminate banding;
• A ValueJet Status Monitor (VSM) app to remotely monitor ink levels, heater settings, media roll end and print status from Android or iPhone;
• Automatic sheet-off function and media auto-cut; and
• An easy-to-navigate control panel.

A heavy-duty takeup system is optional.

Applications range from tradeshow graphics, flags, banners, custom clothing, displays, and interior design work to promotional items, mugs, mouse pads, and more.
