New Dye-Sublimation Inks from Mimaki

Mimaki has added light black and fluorescent pink and yellow hues to its Sb410 dye-sublimation ink set.

The light black addition is engineered to print smoother gradations for applications such as monochromatic photographs.

High in demand in markets such as sports and fashion apparel, the fluorescent colors are said to extend the range of colors reproducible by process color only. Mimaki reports that fluorescents can be read by the RIP through an extended multicolor gamut, or as spot color additions in a standard workflow.

Designed for use with the company’s , the inks are available in 2-L packs.
