Nazdar, the manufacturer of screen and digital printing inks, has changed the identity of its company-owned distribution network to SourceOne.
“Our distribution network has grown to represent far more than just Nazdar ink, or even just screen-printing products,” says Mike Fox, Nazdar president. “Creating a separate brand for SourceOne gives the company-owned distribution group the freedom to define its identity based on an independent vision of how to best serve its customers now and for the future.”

There are 10 SourceOne locations in the US, plus one in Toronto, one in Mexico City, and one in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. In 2004, the company signed agreements to distribute a variety of products and supplies, including Matan's digital thermal printers, the complete line of Roland and Vutek printers, Encres Dubuit's OD Plus Optical Disk inks, and more.
“Over the years, the Nazdar name has become synonymous with ink,” says Peter Walsh, newly name SourceOne vice president of sales and marketing. “And it's in the best interests of the company to maximize the equity in the Nazdar brand by focusing on its core manufacturing capabilities. At the same time, our opportunities in distribution may lead us into markets where the Nazdar brand doesn't have the same resonance as in the screen printing industry.
