When the ballpark that serves as the spring-training home of the
Detroit Tigers was renovated earlier this year, the stadium's
architectural firm hired Images In Tile to create this 20 ft. high
ceramic-tile mural for the stadium's entrance. Images In Tile used a
Roland Hi-Fi JET wide-format inkjet printer with dye-sublimation inks to
produce the 170 tiles used to create the mural. The mural was so
striking, that it was featured on the front page of the local newspaper
and Detroit Tiger fans lined up to have their pictures taken in front of
it.
Images In Tile is staffed by experienced professionals in photo
imaging and has created one-of-a-kind multi-tile murals for themed
restaurants and stores, corporate and hotel lobbies, schools, sports
complexes, shower and kitchen backsplashes, and fountains (see
additional images below).
Images In Tile will soon be offering customized tile borders for the
waterline of swimming pools and is currently testing a commercial-grade
floor tile that will further expand interior-design possibilities.
Designers can supply their own images, choose from Image In
Tiles' collection of royalty-free photos and artwork, or have a
design custom-created. Images can be reproduced as a single decorative
tile or as part of a multi-tile mural of any size. To further enhance
the artistic effects, designs can be output onto a choice of glossy,
