Mimaki Wide-Format 3D Printer
Outputs 70.8-in.-tall figure in seven hours.
Mimaki has expanded its 3D printing portfolio with the addition of the Mimaki 3DGD-1800 large-scale 3D printer. The machine leverages Gel Dispensing Technology – utilizing light-transmittable, gel-type UV-curable resin – to produce 70.8-in.-tall figures in seven hours and dual-head configuration to output two figures simultaneously. Assembly-based design allows users to combine figures to create objects larger than the printer’s formation area.
The Mimaki 3DGD-1800 can output support-free hollowed structures; objects can later house infill material, be left open, or internally luminated using LED lights. 3D object creation software is included, and 3D-printed objects can be decorated with Mimaki inkjet presses. Applications include interior-illuminated signage, P-O-P and window displays, event signage, and more.
