Mimaki Adds Tiger-1800MkII Textile Printer

Mimaki has released the Tiger-1800B MkII available in direct-to-textile and dye sublimation models, with enhancements and higher print resolution compared to the Tiger-1800B version. Featuring a max. print speed of 4144 sq ft/hr, the digital textile printer offers a 1200 dpi print mode, plus Mimaki Advance Pass System to reduce visible banding and uneven color printing with blurred boundaries similar to gradation printing. Other attributes include a Nozzle Check Unit to monitor nozzle outages and Nozzle Recovery System to automatically assign nozzles during an outage. Optional devices include a roll-media feeding unit with centering device and tension bar, a jumbo roll unit for long-length media, and drying and winding or pleating options for printed fabrics.
