Mimaki Direct-to-film Inkjet
Offers an integrated ink circulation system and degassed ink pack design.
Mimaki has announced its first DTF inkjet printer, the 31.5-in. TxF150-75. DTF printing involves printing the design on a transfer film, sprinkling hot-melt power on the transfer, heating and drying the graphic to form a transferable ink layer, and transferring to fabric with a heat press. Based on the existing 150 Series, the new press offers a built-in ink circulation system and degassed ink pack design engineered to prevent common DTF issues such as poor ink ejection and white ink clogging, according to the company. Additional features include a nozzle check unit, nozzle recovery system, RasterLink7 RIP software, and new PHT50 Oeko-Tex Eco Passport-certified water-based heat transfer pigment inks in CMYK + white. The TxF150-75 offers full-color printing on a variety of light or dark fabrics for applications including custom merchandise, sportswear, and apparel decoration.
