Mimaki Adds Flatbed Cutting Plotter

Mimaki has revealed the CF22-1225, a 4 x 8-foot flatbed cutting plotter compatible with FineCut8 and RasterLink6 Plus software. The most recent version of the RasterLink RIP platform features an ID Cut function, a barcode system where job data is output by the printer and read by the cutter, and more.

The machine offers a number of cutting heads for cutting, creasing, and drawing, including a swivel knife, tangential knife, reciprocating knife, and creasing wheel. Compatible materials include corrugate, styrene, foam, rubber, resin, and plastics up to 0.79 in. thick. The plotter features a control panel with shortcut keys for the most commonly used functions; USB 2.0 and Ethernet connections; and more.
