FujiFilm has announced that Martin Schoeppler has been appointed CEO and president of its FujiFilm Dimatix subsidiary, replacing John C. Batterton who is retiring. The change becomes effective May 15, 2008.
Schoeppler joined Fujifilm Dimatix in 2004 as vice president of strategic business development. In January 2007, he was named the company’s vice president of marketing and sales with responsibility for all Dimatix products. Prior to his tenure at Fujifilm Dimatix, Schoeppler held senior management positions at Hewlett-Packard Co., Lumileds Lighting, and Agilent Technologies, Inc.

Headquartered in Santa Clara, California, FujiFilm Dimatix is a wholly owned subsidary of FujiFilm Corporation. The printhead supplier maintains U.S. product development and manufacturing operations in California as well as New Hampshire.
