Mactac Graphic Products has released a new laminate for floor graphics and expanded its line of marking films.
It has added to its line of PermaColor overlaminates the new PermaFlex PF6400, especially designed for short-term, indoor floor-graphic applications for retail, event, or tradeshow advertising and promotion. A 3.75-mil clear polyolefin film, PermaFlex PF6400 is a textured laminate with a glossy finish that helps eliminate glare. It has a clear acrylic permanent adhesive system protected by a smooth glassine liner, has been tested for slip resistance using ASTM C-1028 and is rated for use with floor graphics. PF6400 features an indoor wall durability of one year and an indoor floor durability of one month; it’s available in 54-in. x 150-ft. rolls. Note: PermaFlex PF6400 can also be used on vertical applications, serving as a laminate for wall murals and tradeshow graphics.
Mactac is also now offering its PermaColor Rayzor overlaminate—a 1.5-mil, high-gloss cast vinyl film—with a new 50-lb. smooth calendered paper liner. The new liner is designed to provide a consistent high-gloss finish, improve handling, and make the product more cost-effective, the company reports. The PermaColor Rayzor overlam is available in three widths: 30, 54, and 60 in.
And it has expanded its existing marking-films line with a new Macmark 8900 series. Available in 31 matte and gloss color options, the Macmark 8900 films are 2.8-mil, soft-calendered vinyls coated on one side with a removable, solvent-based adhesive. The clear adhesive is protected by a stable 83-lb. white kraft liner, and the backing paper features grid lines for easy alignment and installation. The adhesive allows for application in cold temperatures.
