Lyson Unveils a New Generation of Fotonic Inks for Epson 2200

Lyson's newest generation of Fotonic archival dye inks give users of the Epson Stylus Photo 2200 an alternative to Epson's Ultrachrome pigmented inks. According to Lyson president Tony Martin, the inks not only improve the color quality and consistency of photographic prints but can also help users save money when used with Lyson's continuous bulk-feed system.

Martin says the new generation of inks dry rapidly and eliminate some of the bronzing that can occur with fast-drying dye-based archival inks.

Prints produced with the inks have a projected print life of 25 to 30 years”?about the same as with traditional photographic processes. (Lyson, Inc.: www.lyson.com)
