New aqueous-inkjet media products from LexJet Direct can relieve some common production headaches.
Ultra-Affordable Adhesive-Backed Water-Resistant Polypropylene: To reduce the cost of producing temporary outdoor mounted graphics, LexJet is selling an adhesive-backed water-resistant polypropylene for just $0.49/sq ft. The 6-mil film features a permanent pressure-sensitive adhesive and works with dye and pigmented inks.
“With the state of the economy and increased pressure for lower-priced advertising pieces, our customers are excited to have access to a series of outdoor solutions that increase their profitability,” states LexJet's Dean Lambert.
Three Forms of 5-Mil Inkjet-Printable Polycarbonate: LexJet Direct's flagship inkjet-printable LexJet? polycarbonate for rollable trade-show graphics is now available in three different 5-mil versions. Graphics producers using dye-based inks on thermal or piezo inkjets can choose either a clear polycarbonate or a polycarbonate with an ultra-bright coating for backlit graphics. A clear polycarbonate with edge strips is available for users of Hewlett-Packard Designjet 5000 series printers. All three films can be paired with any of LexJet's three, opaque white backing films.
