Kodak Versamark Debuts Versamark VX5000e

At Drupa, Kodak Versamark introduced its new printer: Versamark VX5000e. The latest in the V-series of printers (for use with variable data printing), the VX5000e Versamark VX5000e Printing System features high-speed, high-resolution (300 x 1200 dpi) color printing.

The system is driven by the Versamark CS600 system controller (developed jointly with EFI) which delivers a fully integrated color-management system and support for multiple data streams. In addition, this printer uses Kodak Versamark DH92 printheads for crisper image quality.

The VX5000e can deliver print resolutions up to 1200 dpi, and runs at speeds up to 325 ft/minute for a throughput of more than 1400 impressions per minute. (Kodak Versamark: www.kodakversamark.com)
