Kenneth Cole Campaign Challenges Viewers

The 2015 OBIE awards, hosted by the Outdoor Advertising Association of America, celebrated simple advertising strategies that stirred up genuine feelings in its audience. “These winning campaigns need no explanation,” as the awards website put it.

Kenneth Cole's “Be the Evolution” campaign challenged viewers to perform a series of good deeds in order to “man up for mankind,” as their social media hashtag suggested. The movement received the Best of Show award in the Consumer Goods, Services & Retail category and was executed by the agency partnership of Kenneth Cole Productions and Ready Set Rocket.
