KDM P-O-P Solutions Group has announced the acquisition of Georgia-based American Digital Communications (ADC). ADC specializes in providing digital printing, finishing, kit-packing, and delivering customized P-O-P materials to several retail industry segments including quick-serve restaurants, convenience stores, and home improvement retailers.
The addition of specific digital state-of-the-art print technologies will substantially increase capacity and expedite speed to market on short to medium production runs. New product offerings include 5 and 7 color web-fed printing, duplex printing (simultaneous on both sides of substrate), flexo printing, and a digital offset press that requires no film, chemistry, or plates.
“The addition of ADC will increase KDM’s print production and manufacturing capabilities, will expand our geographical presence in the Southeast portion of the United States and create further opportunities to foster growth of product offerings to our customers,” says Bob Kissel, president and CEO of KDM.
American Digital Communications was founded in 1998. The 40,000 square-foot facility will retain its current location, company name, and structure, along with its customers and 37 employees. “We are pleased to be able to increase our capacity with additional presses as well as apply our expertise in the QSR industry from a regional to a national level”, says Randy Ladwig, one of the three company founders.
KDM is headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio specializing in custom retail solutions: P-O-P print solutions, retail décor and fixtures, merchandise displays, plastic fabrication, branding solutions, proprietary online ordering, warehousing, and national distribution for some of the nation’s top retailers and consumer brands.
The company acquisition of ADC is one of four made by KDM in the past five years.
