ISA'S The Link…Install Connects Local, National Sign Companies For One-On-One Networking Experiences

ISA's THE LINK, sponsored by SIGNUM, will kick off 2021 with an event proven to help local and national sign companies make vital connections. THE LINK…INSTALL offers one-on-one virtual networking appointments, pairing local sign companies with national companies who need installers. It will be held Feb. 3-4.

“This is a perfect opportunity for local sign companies to make connections that will keep their crews busy for the rest of 2021,” said Lori Anderson, ISA president and CEO. “Just two hours of time over those two days can change the course of a company's year.”

Local sign companies that participated in the last THE LINK…INSTALL can certainly attest to that. Several reported landing jobs immediately after participating.

“I have already gotten a quote request from one of the national companies that I never been able to get in the door with, and hopefully we can start to do some business together,” said one participant.

Another noted that they had already received a job from a company met during the event. “It has already paid for itself in less than a week’s time.”

Local sign companies, installers and service providers will complete a profile sheet, which will then be used to match up with national sign companies seeking those specific skills or qualifications. The prequalification will provide more meaningful and targeted one-on-one appointments.

“We know that these connections are vital for both national sign companies whose work takes them across North America and for local installers who rely on the contract work from these national projects,” said Alicia Auerswald, ISA vice president of marketing and membership. “National companies were able to strengthen their businesses through the quality connections made. As a result of the success of the first event, many quickly committed to participate in all of our 2021 THE LINK…INSTALL events.”

One national company leader noted that “ISA brought an outstanding experience. The virtual interviews were flawless. Great to meet so many potential partners.” Another was able to connect with local partners to learn more about their capabilities. “Made so many connections in just 4 hours…most of whom seem perfect fits for our needs!”

Space is limited for the February event, and the deadline is fast approaching. Interested companies should contact ISA today. Local sign and install companies may only participate in one event per year to ensure opportunities for other local companies.
