ISA to Host Webinar on Arbitration Clauses and Dispute Resolution

The International Sign Association will hold a webinar titled “Arbitration Clauses: Why They Matter and How to Get Them Right” on Tuesday, Sept. 14.

In an email announcement, the organization stated: “Every contract should include a dispute resolution clause, such as an arbitration clause, and this is particularly important for cross-border contracts. A well-crafted arbitration clause can save significant time and money in the event of a dispute. Business owners and executives who regularly or periodically negotiate cross-border contracts, including with Chinese or other Asia-Pacific counterparties, will find value in this seminar.”

The webinar will be hosted by Katie Burghardt Kramer of DGW Kramer LLP and cover the following topics:

• The basics of dispute resolution options, particularly for cross-border disputes;
• Tips for crafting an ironclad arbitration clause; and
