Integrated Color Solutions Beefs Up Its Management Team

Integrated Color Solutions (ICS), a software and services company specializing in color management solutions for the graphic-arts, printing, packaging, and manufacturing industries has named Jeffrey Silverman President and CEO. Silverman will report to Nigel Andrews, Chairman of the Board of Directors for ICS. In addition, ICS has also named Dan Caldwell as Vice President of Operations and Peyton Kay as Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Silverman has more than 15 years of sales and marketing experience in the media, technology and data industries. Most recently he was with the management team of DoubleClick, Inc., a provider of marketing tools for Internet advertisers, direct marketers, and web publishers.

Caldwell brings more than 20 years of experience in prepress and graphics industry to his new position. Previously, Caldwell managed prepress production at Newsweek magazine and co-founded Color Solutions, Inc. where he was instrumental in the startup, design and marketing of ColorBlind?.

For ICS, Caldwell was instrumental in the development of the SWOP-certified Remote Director? collaborative proofing software and basICCcolor? profiling tools.

Kay has more than 16 years of experience from companies such as Joseph E. Seagrams & Sons and Du Pont. In addition, Kay built international sales and services organizations for eCal Corporation, an enterprise software company; launched Electric Schoolhouse, a family-focused Internet service co-branded with PBS; and built The Hub, the largest online music site, which was later sold and repositioned as the AOL Music Channel.

In accepting the position of president, Silverman called color management one of the final frontiers of digital imaging and noted its enormous commercial potential. He says ICS has a stable of unique, patented technologies and plans to use color science to deliver innovative, cost-effective business solutions.
