Industry Veteran Ron Peterson Passes

Ron Peterson, founder and operator of Peterson and Sons and 40-year industry veteran, has died at 84 after an extended illness, according to a release. Family and friends gathered for a ceremony in Mahopac, New York on July 16. Peterson served in the Korean War before returning to run the family business. His family remembers his love of travel and dedication to hard work, customer service, and honesty. His sons, Eric and Bruce, now serve as general manager and president of Colter & Peterson, respectively.

The family is accepting donations in Peterson’s memory to The New York Blood Center.
