Konica Minolta has launched the AccurioWide series of wide-format hybrid printers engineered for imaging roll-to-roll, flexible roll, and rigid media. The 63-in. AccurioWide 160 is available in CMYK + white and CMYKcm color configurations, reaching speeds of 678 sq ft/hr in draft mode; the 79-in. AccurioWide 200 has a max. speed of 1119 sq ft/hr, plus CMYKcm + white inks.
The series utilizes Konica Minolta KM1024i printheads and UV ink technology in five print modes for print resolutions reaching 1440 x 720 dpi. The machines image materials such as corrugated boards, wood, rigid plastics, and textiles up to 1.77 in. thick. Features include AccurioPro WideDirector software with color management and preflight tools; automated ink refill and monitoring system; ionization bars to remove static buildup; touch-screen graphic user interface; and optional large media tables for printing rigid materials up to 126-in. long (standard with the AccurioWide 200). Applications include signage, fine art, murals, floor graphics, banners, vehicle graphics, and more.
