HP enters the textile printing industry with the HP Stitch series of dye sublimation printers that print to transfer paper or direct to fabric at 1200 dpi utilizing HP thermal inkjet printheads. The entry-level HP Stitch S300 is a 64-in. printer with four printheads imaging at a max. print speed of 665 sq ft/hr. Designed for high production shops, the 64-in. HP Stitch S500 has a max. print speed of 1185 sq ft/hr and eight printheads in a 2 x CMYK configuration. 

Some features include user-replaceable printheads; front-loading media; HP Smart Nozzle Compensation system; plus HP Smart Color tools: automatic detection of out-of-gamut color, built-in spectrophotometer for color accuracy, and Pantone emulation for a close visual match.
