HP has added to its Latex R hybrid printer series with the addition of the R1000 printer for rigid and flexible signage and displays. Positioned for smaller businesses, the R1000 features a reduced footprint compared to the larger R2000 model. 

Features include 3-L ink cartridges, printing on materials up to 64 in. wide and 2 in. thick, HP Latex Overcoat for durability, and HP Latex White Ink with automatic recirculation and nozzle checks. Removable HP Thermal Inkjet printheads allow for storage in an offline rotating chamber, and HP Smart Services is designed to maximize uptime with automated maintenance, smart vacuum, and assisted loading. The R1000 prints at speeds up to 614 sq ft/hr. 

Applications include retail displays, outdoor signage, window graphics, events and exhibitions, and decorations.
