The newly constructed Harley Davidson dealership in Scottsdale, Arizona, is more than just the largest Harley vendor in the world. In addition to its first-floor showroom, the two-story, 150,000-square-foot facility also houses a photo booth with a green screen, an arcade, a tattoo parlor, a wedding chapel complete with a bridal suite, and a bar/patio/barbecue area.
It was a no-brainer that the signage provider for the facility would have to go all out to match the adventures that await behind its doors. The owner, Bob Parsons, turned to a familiar partner in Highway 85 Creative (H85), whose motto “graphics production with a bit of flair” seemed like the perfect fit for the job.
H85 set to work producing more than 150 individual pieces, from printed vinyl to dimensional lettering to custom furniture. Graphics included a 6.8 x 40-foot brick wall mural; a 20 x 25-foot window graphic; and mounted signage on a custom-built barn door. H85 used every tool in the shop on this job, including two HP Designjet L25500 printers, a Vutek PressVu 200/600, and a Durst Rhotex 322; Avery Dennison MPI 1005 cast vinyl, Avery Dennison 1080 matte laminate, and Clear Focus 24-Vue perforated window vinyl; and a MultiCam router.
