The latest version of Group Logic's Imagexpo soft-proofing program (version 3.1) is designed to simplify and streamline the viewing and approval process. Imagexpo, which enables printing firms and graphics professionals to transmit digital “softproofs” over the Internet, now has native support for common graphics formats such as PDF and Postscript. And, XML can be used to create annotations and comments.
Andy Lewis, vice-president of sales and marketing for Group Logic, says other improvements were made to improve the speed, accuracy and flexibility of soft proofing. He says, “Our Windows offering has seen a number of improvements and offers nearly identical functionality to the Macintosh version of Imagexpo.”
The Windows version now supports large files and includes improvements in high-resolution and full-size printing.
