GMG Academy to Offer Color Management Workshops

(PRESS RELEASE) TUEBINGEN, GERMANY — Continued education is paramount when it comes to fully benefit from new technologies and all they have to offer. With the know-how of the GMG color experts, prepress professionals can significantly increase the quality and productivity in print production.

The experienced coaches at the GMG Academy fully understand the constantly evolving challenges of the printing industry, which has led to the restructuring of their workshops:

In addition to supporting experienced specialists with valuable expert knowledge, the GMG Academy now also addresses less qualified operators with specially designed workshops.

Clemens Graf has held many workshops himself and summarizes as follows: “Especially when you are new to the subject of proofing and color management, you want to rethink existing processes and explore ways to improve and develop those further. In this situation, it is incredibly valuable to see how others work. That way, you can take the best practices that fit your circumstances.”

The GMG Academy offer is now divided into two categories: the fundamentals of proofing and color management on one hand, and profiling expert knowledge on the other.

As a result, both categories benefit from an even broader knowledge transfer. The participants work in direct exchange on real projects. The personal interaction combines different experiences and use cases – and these new impulses are expressly desired. For example, when packaging and commercial printing projects are discussed together, both sides can learn and benefit from each other.

Tim Hansinger from GMG emphasizes the great advantage of the newly designed workshops, especially for profiling expert know-how: “The topic of profiling is best explained when working on actual customer examples together. Being open and dealing with new challenges is important even for proven specialists,” says the experienced coach and consultant.

The GMG Academy workshops are offered in both German and English. Face-to-face workshops will take place again from May 2022. In addition to the fixed dates, it is also possible to book individual workshops.
