Gandy Reveals ‘Widest Textile Printer in the World’

Gandy Digital has introduced the Softjet 5000, a 209-in. textile printer, reportedly the widest machine of its kind in the world. The machine offers the ability to print simultaneously on multiple rolls of different widths. The Softjet also features an integrated, ultrasonic automatic sewing system, designed to attach new rolls and therefore reduce media waste on roll change-outs. Additional features include an adjustable fabric tension system, an integrated heating drum, and more. Users can print up to 6 colors at speeds up to 3444 sq ft/hr.
