Remember when throwing your youngster’s birthday party at the local McDonald’s Play Place scored you cool parent points? (OK, maybe that was just in ‘90s rural Indiana.) Parents today know there are a staggering number of kid-focused “play places” to spend a birthday, day off from school, or fun-filled Saturday: jungle gym-coffee shop hybrids, go-kart tracks, waterparks, laser tag and paintball courses, interactive art museums, just to name a few. And perhaps one of the most sought-after attractions? Ginormous indoor trampolines.
King of Prussia Get Air Trampoline Park in Pennsylvania offers not only trampoline bouncing, but also dodgeball, a foam pit, ninja course, fidget ladder, rock climbing wall, and more. The park even has massage chairs for parents to relax in as they watch their youngins let loose. In June of 2018, just one thing was missing: full wall banners to add even more action to the facility.
Fusion Imaging, a Kaysville, Utah, PSP specializing in event graphics, banners, tension fabric displays, and tradeshow exhibits, used their expertise to image 3387 square feet of Agfa Duratex 13-Oz Matte Banner media using a Durst Rho 500R press. It took three installers a full day to adhere the action-packed graphics; hanging large banners in a tight spot proved to take some creative thinking. One banner was 90 feet wide, which made it difficult to position with only three people. The team used a combination of pole pockets and hook-and-loop fasteners to secure the murals to two-by-four frames.
