Fujifilm has added the Acuity LED 1600R, a 64-in. roll-to-roll press designed for flexible media used in large-format graphic displays such as backlit and window applications. The machine features Q-class printheads from Fujifilm Dimatix, a high-density mode capable of handling heat-sensitive roll media, and prints 355 sq ft/hr.

Other features include instant start-up, long-life LED UV lamps, no ozone or VOC emissions, and the new Uvijet RL ink range, which is available in CMYK and CMYKcm (along with a modular upgrade option to include white). Drop sizes range from 10 to 30 pL, allowing for smooth tonal ranges, fine text, and solid colors.
