Fisher Textiles Antiviral Fabric
Designed to inhibit the growth of bacteria on fabric with resistance to microbes.
Fisher Textiles has unveiled the Disenfectex line of antiviral, printable fabrics offered in four styles: face mask fabric, soft knit fabric, sheer, fabric and suede fabric. The line is treated with HeiQ V-block, an antiviral textile treatment engineered to inhibit the growth of bacteria on fabric with resistance to microbes.
Disenfectex fabrics are flame retardant and designed to promote healthier environments; applications include sanitation stations, desk/table/booth/room dividers, table throws, pop-up screens for retailers or businesses, and personal protective equipment (PPE) such as face masks. The company reports the line can be used in SEG systems as protective barriers to aid social distancing practices as well as absorb sound and background noise.
Disenfectex fabrics are washable up to 30 gentle washes, according to the company. Offered in 57 to 125-in. rolls for transfer and direct dye sub printing.
