EFI's OneFlow is a prepress digital workflow
software solution that allows users
to customize workflows using an iconbased
graphical user interface. It converts
files to PDF, and then permits users to preflight,
trap, impose, RIP, and soft proof
them in a customized workflow for small to
mid-sized companies.
OneFlow streamlines workflow by
using hotfolders to begin processing a
job”?accepting PDF, PDF/X, PS, EPS,
TIFF/IT, and DCS 2.0 files. The Correct
function allows users to make corrections
to incoming PDFs, such as removing
objects and rotating and scaling page
content. OneFlow integrates EFI's Fiery
ColorWise color-management system into
its architecture to make color-critical
proofing a snap.
Once a job is approved, OneFlow automatically
moves the job forward in the
workflow after generating a preview of the
latest PDF file. This allows last-minute
editing changes before it is sent for final
output. Other features include the ability
to view imposed commercial printing signatures
on screen and the ability to
archive and e-mail jobs at any stage in
