One of the world’s most famous soccer clubs, Tottenham Hotspur FC, opened their new, world-class stadium, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, last April to much fanfare. As one of the largest club stadiums in London, with the capacity to seat 62,603 fans, it’s a worldwide landmark where fans journey from all over the globe to see the Spurs play.

Cut ‘N’ Copy was more than eager to take on this job as most of their employees are huge fans of the Spurs. “As 75 percent of our employees are loyal fans, we embraced this enormous project with military precision and smiles the size of tanks!” says Craig Arnold, director of Cut ‘N’ Copy. “We installed artwork and graphics to a large area of the walls, lift shafts, tunnels, conference rooms, and social spaces with every part of the job requiring a complex combination of materials, approach, application, and many hours spent on site by our highly experienced team as this project had an incredibly tight design and launch schedule.”

Cut ‘N’ Copy was responsible for decorating everything in the stadium, from window graphics to building wraps to event signage. The project was complex and expansive, and it would’ve been difficult on its own, but the team had to install the designs as the stadium was still being built. “The biggest challenge was working alongside the other tradesmen trying to meet the tight deadline of the stadium grand opening,” says Arnold. “Working in one of the most modern and groundbreaking stadiums, not only did the material choice have to meet the demands of the client, but also the different print techniques and installation challenges while also trying to encapsulate the history of the surrounding area.” There were some last-minute ideas and requests from the client, but it was nothing the shop couldn’t handle. Cut ‘N’ Copy worked together as a team, coming out victorious at the proverbial 90th minute.
