Creo has announced several improvements to its Integris proofing system including a higher-speed configuration, a double-sided proofing option, and additions to its line of media.
The new Integris 800 (8-up) proofing solution was designed for shops with high proofing volumes. Now customers can select the Integris-qualified Epson Stylus? Pro 10600 for twice the productivity but a modest reduction in image quality, or use the Epson Stylus Pro 9600 for the best quality and good productivity.
Creo has also developed a two-sided Media Guide device that allows the Integris 800 with the Epson 10600 to print double-sided proofs. The guide also makes double-sided printing more repeatable using the Epson 9600, and is available for 4-up and 8-up Integris models.
The Integris media line now includes Integris Pro Semi-Matte 180 for high-quality color proofing, Integris 2-sided Matte 100 for double-sided imposition proofing, and Integris Matte 96 for economical, general purpose, and single-sided proofing. Also, Integris proofers are now fully supported by Creo's Profile Wizard, which in its latest editions (2.6) provides enhanced ICC-profile performance. (Creo: www.creo.com)
