(PRESS RELEASE) SUSSEX, WI – ColorCasters LLC, a color management consulting and training company, has teamed up with Mimaki USA to deliver a new workshop series called Confident Color.
The Confident Color series is comprised of one-day workshops that will be held in-person at Mimaki’s facilities around the U.S. in 2024.
Confident Color provides attendees with color management knowledge such as basic color theory, working with canned and custom profiles, spot color optimization and print verification. Unlike other general workshops, Confident Color is tailored specifically for Mimaki clients and customers by focusing on Mimaki’s RIP Rasterlink and its profile maker (MPM3) software. The workshop consists of both classroom instruction and live demonstrations.
“Over the years, Mimaki has trusted us to bring training into their technology centers for both customers and internal employees,” said ColorCasters CEO Jim Raffel. “Confident Color is a bit different however because we’ve developed new content to offer to Mimaki customers that focuses on the software they are using in their printing environments.”
The first Confident Color workshop took place on January 18 in Mimaki’s Los Angeles area facility. The next class is scheduled for March 6 in its Irving, Texas, facility near Dallas. Registration is now open for that workshop. More dates and locations for future Confident Color events will be announced in the next month or so.
