Charrette LLC has signed an agreement with Mimaki Corp. to sell its new JV3-160S wide-format inkjet printer that uses solvent-based inks. With a list price of under $29,000, the 64-in., six-color printer (CMYKcm) can image to lower-cost, untreated media at speeds of up to 222 sq ft/hr at 360 dpi. The printer can also generate print resolutions of up to 720 x 720 dpi.
The Mimaki JV3-160S printer is designed for low maintenance, and features intelligent heater controls, an automatic take-up device, automated printhead cleaning, and an optional air ventilation system.
Charrette LLC specializes in providing imaging products to the professional design marketplace. The company is headquartered in Woburn, MA and has operations in 19 cities. Charrette will provide installation, training, technical support and ongoing service and repair to the Mimaki JV3-160S.
