HumanEyes' Capture3D is an automated application allowing photographers to use any digital camera to generate realistic 3D images for multiple uses such as backlit displays and wide-format signs.
The technology is a shoot-once, use-many format with no limits on picture width–3D landscape images can be shot in up to 360″? panorama. Two-dimensional and 3D images can also be combined in one image. Other features include automatic parallax control (depth), automatic convergence point control, and a quick proofing function.
“Until now, few photographers have ventured into 3D due to cost as well as specialty equipment and set-up required by traditional methods. Plus, the images captured using traditional 3D are limited to a specific application. HumanEyes simplifies the capture and output of realistic 3D, breathing new life into the commercial stereoscopic photography category,” says Gideon Ben-Zvi, HumanEyes CEO.
To encourage the growth of 3D photography, HumanEyes is offering a free trial version of Capture3D for photographers. Immediately following the trial, the software will be available for an introductory price of $199 US. (HumanEyes: www.humaneyes.com)
