Caldera, Kala Integrate Software and Finishing Equipment

Caldera has partnered with Kala, a French manufacturer of wide-format print finishing equipment, to develop features in version 10 of Caldera’s RIP software platforms tailored to Kala’s range of machinery. Specific features include:

• Cut marks for single- and double-sided production;
• Automated calculation of margins;
• Stop indicators that aid manual position changes;
• And the Trim-O-Matik module offering features such as communication between laminating and trimming equipment.
