Black Snake Vroom

In order to truly capture the attitude and speed of a 2014 SRT Viper, Jacksonville’s Identity Design (www.paintisdead.com) wrapped the 640-horsepower Chrysler sports car with Ritrama’s Black Mamba, a textured, black snakeskin cast vinyl film.

“The Dodge Viper is notorious for its logo – a snake,” says Scott Kepple, sales director at Identity Design. “The Black Mamba material was a true complement to the aura of the Viper itself.”

The shop used about 17 yards of film on the Viper, taking three days to complete the install. “The snakeskin is directional, so it takes a lot of planning,” says Kepple. “As wide as the Viper's hood is, and only having 60 inches of material to work with, it required planning the seams in a discreet way.”
