Avery Dennison Honors 10 Wraps From 2014

Known as a supplier of vehicle wrap films, Avery Dennison sought to demonstrate the wider potential for their digital graphic products.

“Vinyl wrap installers and sign shops are taking the art of wrapping to a new level of customization for consumers,” says Bill Podojil, Avery Dennison’s director of graphics sales. “That includes shoes, microwaves, prosthetics, and very small items like car key fobs.”

So Avery Dennison recognized 10 of the most versatile wraps from 2014 for their creative use of Avery Dennison products. The 10 projects chosen are:

1. At the 2014 Con Expo, Las Vegas-based GeckoWraps (www.geckowraps.com) wrapped several 35-ton Kobelco excavators with over 1000 square feet each of MPI 1005 Supercast Easy Apply RS.

2. K6 Media installer Brittany Blais (www.facebook.com/wrappedinheels) wrapped high-heeled shoes with Supreme Wrapping Film in Black Brushed Metallic, Aluminum Brushed Metallic, and Black Metallic.

3. The Netherlands’ Léon Signburo (www.leonsignburo.nl) wrapped a set of kitchen cabinets with bright red Supreme Wrapping Film.

4. Enigma Graphics and Signs printed a colorful wall graphic for a San Antonio Ducati dealership with MPI 2923.

5. Unlimited Wraps (www.unlimitedwraps.com) used Supreme Wrapping Films to match car key fobs with vehicle wraps.
