APC Announces Agreement to Distribute Mimaki’s Tiger600 High-Speed Dye-Sub Printer

(PRESS RELEASE) Chambersburg, PA – American Print Consultants (APC), a leading distributor of wide-format printers, supplies, and technical support, is proud to announce that in addition to its ongoing partnership with Mimaki USA, APC has entered into an agreement to sell and support the MimakiTiger600-1800TS high-speed production dye sublimation printer.

Ever the innovator, the Tiger600 is the latest in a long line of high-quality dye sublimation printers from Mimaki Engineering. The Tiger600 is not only built for speed but for quality as well. Utilizing high-speed printhead technology, the Tiger600 boasts production speeds up to 5,920 sq ft/ hr (550sq m/ hr) and features unrivaled print quality. This printer is a great solution for multiple dye sublimation applications, including apparel, POP, exhibit, and décor.

Rob Almstrom, APC Partner, said, “When we saw the Tiger600 launch at the ITMA show, we were blown away by the high speeds and quality. The Tiger600 is a great addition to our dye sublimation product offerings. Like all Mimaki equipment, the Tiger600 is built ruggedly and engineered for optimal performance. In our opinion, the Tiger600 achieves the difficult intersection of production, quality, and value. APC is excited to offer this printer to our customers and invested in a demo printer for our showroom.”

“We are pleased to introduce the newest generation Tiger600 to the market with American Print Consultants. Leveraging their extensive knowledge and experience in dye sublimation printing, combined with their dedication to providing exceptional technical support, makes them the perfect Tiger600 partner to understand and support our customers,” said Victoria Nelson Harris, Senior Textile Segment Specialist

Dave Mee, APC partner, added, “Many of our customers are in apparel production, which requires a high-quality dye sublimation printer solution. Customers need a bank of slower printers to achieve production volume while maintaining quality. Mimaki has hit the nail on the head; the Tiger600’s speed can replace multiple printers while the high capacity 10kg bulk ink and mini jumbo roll paper bring down consumable costs.”

APC sells and supports the full Mimaki product line and offers products and services for dye sublimation and fabric decoration.

About American Print Consultants

American Print Consultants was formed in 2015 by three independent wide-format technicians, all with decades of industry experience: Rob Almstrom, Brian Hendricks, and Dave Mee. The partners saw a need for a service-forward equipment and media distributor who truly partnered with customers from concept to final product. “Our philosophy has always been, ‘our experience is the difference in your experience.’ There is more to successful production than just getting a printer dropped off; a complete service partner can make all the difference. We provide value through our experience and service,” said Dave Mee, Partner.
