(PRESS RELEASE) CHAMBERSBURG, PA – American Print Consultants, a distributor of wide-format printers and supplies, has announced its recent purchase of a new facility in Chambersburg, PA.
The new, 32,000-sq.-ft. facility will feature a dedicated showroom, equipment refurbish area, and a training classroom. The new facility will also allow for expanded warehouse and office areas.
Rob Almstrom, partner, says the new building will allow APC to service, train, and educate customers in wide format and textile printing.
“We like our centralized location in Chambersburg, PA and our ability to quickly service customers in the Northeast and Midwest,” he says. “When the opportunity came up for this building, we had to jump on it. We were getting cramped in our current location, and this new building perfectly suits our needs. We have grown so much and needed the space, and going from 11,000-sq.-ft. to 32,000-sq.-ft. will be amazing.”
The new facility also features a covered outdoor space which APC plans on utilizing for outdoor application testing and training.
“We are in the middle of planning logistics for the move and want as little downtime or disruption as possible,” says Brian Hendricks, partner. “We have some things to get ready for the new building but plan on having a big celebration later this year. After a crazy 2020, we look forward to being able to bring our customers together again and showing off the new facility.”
Dave Mee, partner, adds: “Having a dedicated training area for in-house customer training and a large showroom are integral to our plans. We are planning on expanding training for color profiling and application training. We will also have the ability to show our customers full production processes on many applications, which are especially valuable for our textile customers who can see finishing in action for different textile types.”
