Aimed at professional photographers and creatives, PhotoPlus Expo”?held November 2 – 4 at the Jacob Javits Center in NYC”?offers educational opportunities as well as face-to-face time with more than 200 exhibitors of digital and professional tools and equipment. Although its primary focus is image capture, the Expo also features exhibitors and seminars addressing storage, output (including wide-format printing), and display, as well as business management.
The PhotoPlus Photography & Design Conference offers 11 program tracks and seminars that cover everything from technical aspects such as RAW, workflow, and digital black-and-white printing to censorship and the future of photography.
In addition, for the first time, PhotoPlus is offering Santa Fe Center of Photography portfolio reviews on a first-come, first serve basis.
Fees: Entrance to the Expo only is free if registered prior to October 12; ($40 after Oct. 12); a Gold Expo Pass is $59 ($79 after Oct. 12); educational workshops/seminars are additional.
