Adventure Advertising (Rockport, Maine) has acquired a nearby copy and print shop called Good Impressions (Rockland, Maine), the company announced last week.
Adventure Advertising will continue the operations of Good Impressions at the shop’s current location while adding its own services. This includes signs, banners, vehicle graphics, boat lettering, screen printing and embroidery, laser engraving, and other printing, advertising, and graphic services.
Dana Start owned Good Impressions for more than 30 years and has been a fixture in the local printing community for nearly 50 years, offering photocopy services and printing of booklets, newsletters, town reports, business cards, brochures, and more.
“I appreciate the community and the customers that have supported my business for over 30 years,” Start says. “It is important to me that these customers can still be serviced locally after I retire. … I am glad to see [Adventure Advertising] step in to ensure my services continue and my customers can still get the printing options they need locally.”
Adventure Advertising is owned and operated by Alyssa and Dale Landrith, who purchased the company in 2019. In 2020, they also purchased Crowning Touch Embroidery to add additional custom apparel options for local customers. Adventure Advertising has 11 employees.
