Art Van Furniture was looking for a unique display for its Detroit Sofa collection when the team ran into Simple Walls at Globalshop 2016. The print shop was exhibiting its proprietary dimensional wall panels, made from recycled cardboard, newspaper, and wood chips, and designed to mimic the appearance of surfaces like brick, stone, and cement. Simple Walls worked with Art Van’s design team to create a custom color that matched the store’s aesthetic and printed panels for 10 locations across Michigan and Illinois. The shop used an HP Scitex FB700 printer to print on Simple Walls PAS 201.
