XMPie Debuts Version 2.0 of uStore

XMPie has updated its uStore standalone Web-to-print solution to Version 2.0. The new version features capabilities for plug-in modules that allow users to customize their own solutions. The plug-ins, which can leverage third-party tools and software for enhanced functionality, comprise several core functions:

Product Specification and Pricing Systems: Users develop custom-pricing models and connect to external systems such as MIS software or “homegrown”? accounting systems to retrieve product, printing specifications, or pricing information that can be included in the storefront workflow. uStore 2.0 ships with a complete pricing module.

“? Shipping systems: Modules can be created that integrate with shipping systems to provide shipping rates, weight calculations, tracking information, and shipping labels. It comes with a ready-made plug-in to FedEx.

“? Messaging Systems: Enables users to set up customized, automated notifications to customers and operators at pre-determined events in the workflow, and designate which contacts should receive the notices.

“? List Provider systems: Users can develop software that connects to third-party providers so their customers can purchase recipient databases–helping streamline the creation and production of VDP campaigns. UStore 2.0 ships with a ready-made plug-in developed by XMPie that provides integration with USADATA, a suppier of privacy-compliant consumer, business, and specialty-mailing lists and leads.
