To meet the growing needs of its business, Moore Wallace Response Marketing in Eindhoven, the Netherlands is installing three new Xeikon DCP 500 D digital color printing systems. The new models will replace three DCP/32D systems and complement three others.

Capable of producing more than 8200 8.5- x 11-in. impressions per hour, the new machines will be run by Xeikon digital front ends, instead of the previous proprietary systems. The higher-throughput devices are expected to increase the total digital-print capacity of the company by at least 50%.

Moore has been using Xeikon printers since 1994 and will use the new printers to print tailor-made response marketing mailing pieces with individualized and personalized content, including articles, illustrations, and advertisements.
