X-Rite Premium ICC Profiles Bundled With Epson Printer

The new Epson Stylus Photo R1800
printer will be packaged with X-Rite premium
ICC profiles, the “Complete Guide to
Color Management” publication (with
step-by-step instructions for creating a
color-managed system), and a demo version
of MonacoEZcolor color-management
software. The ICC profiles were created
exclusively for the R1800 using Monaco-
PROFILER 4.7 software.

In addition, software company GMG
has selected X-Rite's Pulse (DTP20) and
DTP70 color-measurement solutions for
its proofing bundles. Customers can now
order GMG and X-Rite bundles through
GMG dealers. “X-Rite's Pulse and the
DTP70 are the fastest and easiest-to-use
measurement solutions we have tested,”
says GMG's Jawdatt Mawassii. “Combined
with our proofing technology, our customers
will have the freedom to spend
more of their time and effort on their core
work and business, and less time and
money about getting the color right.”
