DRAKE UNIVERSITY’S Knapp Center is a community staple in Des Moines, Iowa. The arena’s most eye-catching feature, its windows, has remained clear and full of potential since its opening in 1992. To give the building’s exterior its first face lift in almost three decades, Drake tapped LRI Graphics, in Grimes, Iowa. The shop printed and installed more than 100 window graphics, totaling 3000-plus square feet.

The LRI Graphics team used an HP Latex 1500 printer to print the window graphics, which feature a brand new slogan for the university, onto General Formulations Concept 270 WindowMark perforated window film with a protective laminate to improve durability. The Knapp Center is Des Moines’ most public-facing building as it hosts high-level college basketball games, track and field events, graduations, and local gatherings. Its official look now matches its important status in the community.
