DGI CREATIVE IN HANOVER (dgicreative.com, Pennsylvania, created a dynamic and eye-catching wall wrap for ESAB Welding & Cutting Equipment. They were presented with a blank canvas in the form of a 389- by 232-inch brick wall on ESAB’s property and opted to install a powerful single image of a welder in action, as opposed to ESAB’s original idea of creating a collage. “We convinced them that a single picture that is larger than life has far more impact than a collage of multiple pictures,” says Austin Balaz, marketing and media specialist, DGI Creative. “The results were undisputed.”

DGI Creative used a Roland VersaCamm VS-640 printer/cutter with eco-solvent inks to print onto Arlon DPF 8000 Ultra Tack wall wrap with Series 3200 Optically Clear overlaminate. In order to get clearance from the local code authority, they classified the installation as “art” and the text content as “signage.” The project has quickly become a staple of the community and a source of pride for ESAB.
