WebWay Version 4.0 Improves Functionality

Artwork Systems has updated its WebWay collaborative workflow solution to Version 4.0.

WebWay, which provides an Internet-based communication between print buyer and print provider, now features: a new user interface along with a new page layout; improved previewing functions; a navigation window; multi-page support with thumbnail previews; and the ability to download a color-managed and printable proof. Project organization also has been reworked to enable the creation of project sub-folders with their own specific permissions and access to Certified PDF session information from the WebWay applet (even for remote users who do not have Certified PDF technology).

Typically, WebWay runs as a standalone application on a Mac OS X server or workstation, on a Windows 2000 (and up) server, or on Windows XP Professional. A mail server supporting SMTP is required.
